    Our instructors are professors and consultants with years of experience teaching these same concepts at the university level and companies of all sizes. Our instructors also serve as public speakers and recurring trainers in industries such as tech, aerospace, automotive, electronics, health services, education and government agencies. While we have extensive experience with the topics covered, we also strive to provide the material to you in the most engaging way possible with our humor and down to earth approach.

  • Customized to your Needs

    Our workshops are tailored specific to your organization. Before any commitment on your part, your instructor schedules a free 30-minute consultation with your organization to assess your needs and pain points (i.e. topics, attendee demographics, duration, level of engagement desired). Your instructor then uses this information to create the content to maximize the value of the workshop.

  • Competitive Pricing

    Our workshop prices are significantly less than similar live workshops offered by other providers. In fact, our prices for live workshops compete with most offline/literature review workshops. We strive to be accessible to all organizations and companies from any industries.

  • In-Person or Online

    Our workshops can be hosted in-person at your office or online for your convenience. Regardless of the workshop location, our instructors engage the audience using live polling, discussions, and breakout group activities. Unlike most of the other workshops offered by our competitors, our instructors emphasize the importance of interacting throughout the entire session to maximize learning but also application of the concepts to every day personal/professional life.

  • Real-World Applicable Skills

    Our instructors emphasize skills and how you can apply the content of the workshop to real-world and real-life scenarios as opposed to the theoretical content you can easily learn from another workshop or a handbook/textbook. Our workshop content contains a significant amount of case studies and lessons learned from our instructors’ experience with similar organizations.

  • Free Previews

    Each of our workshops are available for you to preview at no cost and without any future workshop commitments. Free previews are hosted by the same instructor as the regular sessions and briefly touch on the concepts at a high level so your organization can get a feel for the content and the instruction style. We find that most organizations who complete a preview workshop with us end up requesting regular workshops which go into more details on the topics covered to provide maximum value to attendees.

How it works

  1. Choose the workshop you would like to preview and complete the form (after reviewing our policies below)

  2. You will receive a confirmation email of your form being submitted and your instructor will reach out to you to schedule a free 30-minute consultation

  3. During the consultation, our instructor will assess your needs and pain points confirming all of the following:

    • Topics you would like covered (burnout, stress management, etc.)

    • Attendee demographics (in order to tailor our content)

    • Duration/date/time of the workshop

    • Level of engagement desired (lecture-style, discussion, live polling)

    • Number of instructors needed (typically one or two)

    • Costs

  4. We provide you with a proposal and contract

  5. We customize our workshop to suit your needs

  6. We deliver the workshop provide your attendees with a certificate of completion

Workshop Policies

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations must be requested in writing. All contracts are issued with phases which ensures shared expectations and your satisfaction prior to commencing any additional work (curriculum development, workshop presentation, etc.) Please send all cancellation requests to admin@alignonlinetherapy.com

Special Accommodations

Code of Conduct

Align Online Therapy strives to create a learning environment that is respectful of the rights and dignity of all participants of our learning community. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a collegial, respectful, and professional manner while participating in all activities associated with this course. Participants are expected to exhibit behaviors and attitudes consistent with appropriate ethical-legal standards, and to refrain from any fraudulent, dishonest, or harmful behaviors such as cheating or harassment, which compromise the integrity of the standards of Align Online Therapy and/or impact the safety and security of fellow participants and workshop staff. Failure to comply with appropriate standards of conduct will result in the participant being removed from the workshop without refund and removed from additional workshops at the discretion of Align Online Therapy workshop staff.

 

Respectful Discourse

Align Online Therapy values and respects the perspectives and diversity of our participants in regard to ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, age, and ability status. Thus, it is critical that training discussions include respectful dialogue about any issue that impacts the lives of our participants and the individuals, families, and communities that our participants serve.

 

Commitment to Anti-Racism

The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Counseling Association, and the American Psychological Association have all denounced racism. Align Online Therapy embraces an antiracist philosophy, supports the development of antiracist policies, and is committed to fighting racism and injustice.  We encourage conversations about race, knowing these conversations involve emotions and address the lived experiences of both personal and institutional racism. If you experience or witness racism or injustice in a workshop, you are encouraged to address it directly with your instructor when possible. 

Privacy Policy

In order to safeguard the privacy of all our participants and workshop staff in online learning environments, no individual may record, reproduce, screenshot, photograph or distribute any video, audio, or visual content from an online or on-site workshop.  This restriction applies to, but is not limited to, live online sessions, recorded lectures, live discussions, and discussion boards.  The only exception to this policy is one screenshot/picture per workshop that staff may take as a form of attendance.  These screenshots will not be shared or used for any other purpose. Any violation of this policy may subject the individual to disciplinary and/or legal action.

Grievance Policy

When a participant files a grievance and expects action on the complaint, the following actions will be taken:

  1. Participants will be asked to put their concerns in writing.

  2. If the grievance concerns a speaker, the content presented by the speaker, or the style of presentation, the provider will pass on the written comments to the speaker, assuring the confidentiality of the grieved individual.

  3. If the grievance concerns a workshop offering, its content, level of presentation, the facilities in which the workshop was offered or miscellaneous occurrences, the provider will mediate and will be the final arbitrator. If the participant requests action, the administrator may:
    a. provide a credit for a subsequent workshop or
    b. provide a partial or full refund of the workshop fee
