We help you build authentic, balanced relationships using assertive communication, resilience and emotional intelligence

Take the first step towards happier, healthier relationships that meet your needs today.

We understand.

Our generation feels anxious, overwhelmed and alone in a way only we can understand. In your 20s and 30s, your relationships with your partner, family and friends affect how you feel more than anything else.

You deserve relationships that meet your needs.

You want others to see you for who you truly are: a complex person with strengths, vulnerabilities and goals. While you might be more complicated, your relationship needs are probably simple: authenticity, connection and mutual respect.

At your core, you want to feel seen, heard and validated by others, knowing you are loved unconditionally. You want a relationship where you can be authentic and vulnerable without triggering all your insecurities.

Starting therapy doesn’t mean you have a problem. It means you want to start fixing your problem.

Everyone is going to therapy now, but the idea of starting therapy might be anxiety-provoking, even if you’ve done it before. You might even be skeptical about whether therapy can actually help you with your problems. Let’s be honest, you might be right.

Reasons you might be skeptical

  • You tried working with a therapist before and it didn’t meet your expectations or actually made you feel worse

  • Paying a stranger just to listen to your problems can feel like a waste

  • You've been able to solve most of your own problems in the past

  • Saying your fears and insecurities out loud means you might get judged for them

  • You have high expectations and it's easy for people to disappoint you

Your emotions are valid.

This is why you connect with a qualified, experienced therapist who understands you and can explain how therapy actually works.

A good therapist

  • Responds to your feedback with a different approach that can better help you

  • Understands you are investing your time and money because you want solutions, not just someone who listens

  • Gives you tools and skills to solve your problems more effectively and efficiently

  • Not only creates a nonjudgmental environment in therapy but also helps you start judging yourself less

  • Establishes clear goals from the moment you speak with them and helps you make progress consistently so you know therapy is working

Curious about the backstory?

When a professor started helping his students advocate for themselves and build a community around their needs, the seed was planted—years of giving back followed and became contagious. We were motivated to create a practice that helps you reshape your relationships and build a community that suits your needs.

Online therapists who treat relationships and anxiety

We have your back.

We use evidence-based methods rooted in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Attachment-Based therapy, ACT, EMDR and more. We attend trainings annually and stay up-to-date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques. Many of us are also professors of Clinical Psychology at the Master’s level at universities and colleges across Southern California.

It takes courage to speak up in relationships, we can relate.

We’re authentic and transparent. We’re diverse and in different stages of our own relationship journeys. Whether you’re dating, in a relationship, married or starting a family, our lived experience allows us to understand the modern challenges that come with each.

We’re real people with real experiences. We've worked with clients facing similar challenges and we approach your journey with compassion, respect, and nonjudgmental support.

It’s okay to not be okay, change is possible.

You might think therapy works well for others but won’t work for you. You’re right; you never really know if therapy will solve your problems. But connecting with the right therapist is crucial.

You bring the hope and commitment to change. We’ll bring the concrete tools and strategies to practice so you can clearly see when therapy is working. We help you establish goals and expectations as early as your initial consultation. Therapy isn’t a long-term commitment unless you actually want it to be, and usually, it’s because you agree it’s effective.

Every step you take towards your goal is worth celebrating.

This is a partnership and we’re working with you towards the same goals. Whether it’s the first boundary you set, the first time you tell someone how you truly feel or the first time you say no without an explanation, we celebrate your wins because you deserve them. There might be some anxiety at first but our job is to remind you of the relief you’ll feel after you choose yourself.
